Its 3-layer polyester fleece construction makes it durable enough for reuse and well-suited for retaining coarse dirt, filling better without rupturing compared to paper filter bags. More importantly, it can be emptied, cleaned and reused like new. The fleece filter also reduces the strain on the vacuum’s primary filter, preserving its lifespan in turn. Altogether, you save on both vacuum bags and filters when dealing with dirt and debris in your space. This product is made for compatibility with FLEX brand VCE 33 and 44 HEPA vacuum cleaners, operating at 9 gallons or 12 gallons of capacity, respectively. Any class of VCE 33/44 works, though since this bag is meant to be reusable and is most effective with coarse dirt, a class L vacuum may be best—class M and H vacuums are rated for finer mineral or wood dusts, and reusing a filter bag that contained these dusts can be risky since they present a respiratory hazard. Also, the bag is not meant for use with wet/dry vacuuming, though it is moisture-resistant.
