This simple solution prevents inside corner cracking when installed against a ceiling or concrete deck that may be subject to movement, to be used alongside backing materials in the head-of-wall gap for a code-compliant assembly. Its flexible gasket compresses and expands, providing protection for up to ½” of deflection, while its tear-off strip leaves a clean finished edge.
